This is using the methodology of the planbureau with additional new data :

“This estimate is based on the so-called “1-2-3″ proposal, which consists of a tax of 1% on wealth from €1 million upwards, 2% from €2 million and 3% thereafter, with an exemption for the family home up to €1 million per household.”

  4. Which sounds like a lot, but really is peanuts compared to what we need to get.

  5. Can’t they just stop with this American commie shite? You can just hear it in the way people from PVDA speak that they’re aping Bernie Sanders and the like. Belgium isn’t America, we don’t have a billionaire class where a top 1% hoards all the wealth. According to Forbes 2024, Belgium has 10 people whose total assets and wealth combine up to over a billion, with all but one having between 2-4 billion. You’re not going to gain much by chasing them out the country, except inevitable joblessness if they move their manufacturing elsewhere.

  6. Let’s raid all the tax havens first, that will raise 10 times that

  7. The people that are needed to implement this are the ones that go golfing every other weekend with the people this affects.
