Sounds like maybe an old hangar queen to me. If they couldn’t be bothered to repaint it for war and left it out there by itself, I’m guessing it was one of the older ones from the team making itself a target
But.. seeing as how this is Russia, anything is possible, maybe it was in front line active service too all painted up for victory
