….and prime ministers shouldn’t be telling porkies in parliament, but here we are, moral authority is a coin easier spent than earned.

  2. Amazing let’s now **ban** things that can reduce the spread of Covid… FFS

What’s next, forced infections while ignoring the fact that people can catch this more than once?

  3. Funny that as this is what my son’s school sent last week when they announced it

all staff and students will be required to wear face coverings at all times in school, including lessons, unless they are exempt.

  4. Well, would you look at that?

Untrustworthy cunts acting like untrustworthy cunts, somehow, DOESN’T instill trust in untrustworthy cunts, to the point where their “advice” will be ignored.

    Funny that.

  5. Good. Schools and local authorities are not qualified nor have the authority to impose random health rules on children.

Need to come down hard on this or the little jobsworth authoritarians will seamlessly pivot to using covid as an excuse for any arbitrary rule they decide they want people to follow that day.

  6. Hey I have an idea! Why don’t the Tories actually make a sensible fucking decision for once.

If you don’t want to try and inhibit the growth or spread of Covid. Fine. It’s fucking stupid considering Omicron isn’t the end of COVID (or even the end of dangerous variants). Remove all restrictions, ban masks. BUT:

Do the sensible thing and actually financially support Schools, Hospitals and Councils so that they can physically endure the inevitable staff shortages and other issues caused.

Schools are desperately trying to protect their **Staff**. There is a chronic shortage of teachers because we pay them shit and treat them like shit. The average age of teachers is around 40-50 which means they are more likely to suffer issues with Covid and be off sick for longer (regardless of isolating rules).

Schools don’t have budgets anymore and are close to going bust because of the cost of employing supply teachers. This is having a far greater impact on the long term education of children than any other bollocks they spout about (“we should teach Latin!”). Because schools don’t have money left for resources and improvements desperately needed.

And to top it off. Not only will they not fund schools. these absolute fucking **cunts** in charge think it’s acceptable to remove educational funding from constituencies which either stayed Labour or their MP voted against the whip?
