Which is exactly the problem; it’s most of the West’s problem. We are scared shitless to say “our strategic goal is the defense of Ukraine, the elimination of an imperial project in Central Europe, and the defeat of Russia…come what may.”

Ukraine should be able to strike military and logistics in Russia with that idea then.
Because western provided weapons are already being used in Ukraine territory which Vlad claims to be part of russia(Which his claims is not true).

It would be more interesting to know what Scholz replied to Putin when he made these absurd statements.
And when Scholz talks about history books, his role in this war will probably not be viewed quite as positively as he himself might believe. His performance so far is underwhelming and his fear and hesitation may, in the long term, lead to the very big war he believes he is preventing.
This, and the bit about Lukashenko, have been well worn but rarely cited. It’s good to see it said and printed “out loud”.
