This isn’t the right time for even more division. We’ve had the first independence referendum, we’ve had Brexit, we’ve had Covid. We need a period of stability where we all work together to rebuild from covid and help make brexit work better.
I’m 20 and can barelt remember a time where there wasn’t a major push to break apart this country or leave the EU and frankly I’ve had enough of it. We need to at least try to make brexit work (I couldn’t vote but I was massively against it). We need to at least try to work together to make the country better rather than continuing to tear the country apart, even after the people said no.
This isn’t up to Tories, it is up to people of Scotland to decide.
Torysplaining to Scotland why we can’t even have a choice as to whether we are independent, even though there have been fundamental shifts since we were last asked.
Tick tock. Every bit of pushback only strengthens and increases the appetite for Yes.
Don’t forget that only 20% of folk voted for Scottish independence last time. They also excluded us Scots who weren’t in the country on voting day. Had they been then this defeat for the SNP would be worse. Not every Scot wants to live in a bankrupt country.
