I had a goat’s cheese ice cream as part of a starter in a posh restaurant once. I still think about it.
All this talk of mortality and nobody has asked the most important question: how does it taste?
I could understand a wensleydale eith cranberry icecream, cheddar is a bit too savoury for icecream? How was it?
*Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should*
short answer: yes.
I say it doesn’t go far enough.
Imagine what we could achieve with a cone made of bacon.
Think of the possibilities!
Intriguing.
Yes, next question.
Proof that cheese is truly a universal food.
What a time to be alive.
Cheese Ice cream is quite common in india, its really nice – sweet and salty/savoury is a great tast pairing that UK doesnt do much of but we should!
Cheese flavoured ice cream has been a thing since the late 18th century or so. It is having a bit of a comeback of late though.
Most important question, where from?
We’re past the peak as a species
It’s dairy…makes sense
My local did blue cheese ice cream. Pairs nice with gingerbread flavoured one
I say man hasn’t gone too far enough.
I had Marmite flavour ice cream the other week, and it was actually really good.
I had avocado flavoured ice cream in a gourmet restaurant once, once! It’s a hard no from me.
Not in my opinion. I think we need more savoury ice-cream flavours. I too, would like to cool down on a hot day by the beach with my family, but it’s all too sweet. Rum & Raisin is about as savoury as it gets. I’d definitely give this a bang.

If you have to ask if man has gone too far, chances are it has.
You know what, life’s too short for the same 3 flavours. I need variety and strangeness in my life. I’d try that.
I mean, we have cheese cake, so why not?
I feel like ice cream would be too cold to get the flavour.

> has man gone too far?
Yes. Yes it has. (but if you enjoy it, more power to you. 😄)
How was it…? (And where’s the chutney flavoured sauce?!)

No that’s too far. At least it wasn’t Stilton!
Yuk
I firmly believe food has no restrictions. If it is not edible / not tasty then it wouldn’t exist.
yeah. that’s a wrap on humanity i think.
Two rights make a wrong?
What next, Marmite ice cream?!
We’ve had [this](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queso_ice_cream ) in The Philippines for ages now, although I don’t think the cheddar is as strong as the kind you’d get here. I actually like it a lot, but then we’re used to the sweet and salty combo there. [Ube](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ube_ice_cream ) and cheese is my favourite flavour combination

This is why God abandoned us
What hath God wrought?
That sounds genuinely horrific
