US president warns new army officers to be ‘guardians of American democracy’

  3. How sad that a US President has to remind military officers that they have a greater duty to the ideals of Democracy than to any one man/woman who would seek to destroy said Democracy.
    In other words, how far does “I was only following orders” get you?

  5. What’s the deal with the Constitution? There was a time they wanted to be seen as protecting it. Why try to become the President if you’re not going to protect the Constitution or follow your oath?

    They want America to be white conservatives with male leaders. Basically the 1800s would be their utopia. Over 80 million Americans voted against the guy. He has never won the popular vote and he wants to get rid of them.

    Even if he was able to mass deport 10% of the 80 million Americans who think he sucks the loss of 8 million + people off the jobs market, 8 million + homes suddenly empty, and he still wouldn’t win the popular vote but he would have destroyed America.

  9. Hopefully, Biden used his 4 years to ensure that extreme nationalists were kept from enlisting in the US military.

  13. Today is Memorial Day, a time to reflect on the fact that Trump will use the military to kill Americans if elected. If officers do not keep their oath and resist Trump, this will be the LAST time we will ever honor their service. They will have been made into the enemy of American citizens. Let’s hope they choose wisely.
