Police in western Georgia made an unusual arrest after an alligator strolled into a residential neighborhood.
Body cam video shared by local police showed officers wrangling the alligator from the driveway of a Georgetown home into the back of a patrol car before releasing the animal safely back into the wild.
In a social media post accompanying the video, Chatham County Police Department described the encounter as “just another day at the office”, while one commenter joked “did you read him his rights?”
