  3. Again? It’s not gonna work out without support from PL clubs. I recall the UK government threatened to cancel PL foreign players’ visas or something. This is a big threat so I don’t see how the super league is in any sense possible.

  4. Well, technically the Super League is already here in EPL in terms of money. They have just been bad and spending money, which is the reason the gap hasn’t been wider on the pitch. But with clubs incorporating the Spanish way of running the club (e.g. City and Arsenal) they are going to widen if things continue as it is.

  7. The new format isnt actually that bad. The problem is, the Super League will never escape its initial bad publicity, so top teams will never join it for fear of upsetting their fanbases. At this point, start it up, get our billion, then call it quits a season later.

  9. Doubt it’s gonna happen with how conservative the majority of soccer fans are.

  10. Yes it is based on American style of sports. Pump money initially let fans get on the bus for free then charge them .
    Second is involving all the teams from top to bottom.
    Third giving the bottom team top picks
    Fourth Budget restrictions and same cap for everyone.

  11. I’d rather merge with Portugal and have a league of 16 teams with a minimum of 6 from either country
