  20. Ha! This is the second time in so many years that I get to organically bring up the time I saw Dreyfuss at a screening of Jaws where he went off on the “Me Too” movement, and said that it was “killing romance in Hollywood.”

    I used to give him the benefit of the doubt and assumed that he just didn’t understand what the issues were with “Me Too.” I don’t do that anymore.

  22. I actually really like him in Jaws, Close Encounters, and Stand by Me…fuck, this guys been in some of my favorite movies and he’s allegedly an asshole.

  25. The only Richard Dreyfuss movie I ever liked was What About Bob?? because “Bob” made dreyfuss’s character miserable, his kids hated him, and it was a joy to watch.

    Who the fuck is telling him to do or say anything? Tons of celebrities get by, by don’t having an opinion of what is affecting 0.1 percent of the population. It’s the same with the people marrying dogs because gay marriage is legal, or screaming murder at women having an abortion. You don’t want one? Don’t have one! So easy.

    Kind of standard now like with some theatre, but, I think he directed a theatre play over here too. 

    Imagine being directed by Richard Dreyfuss. It’d be like learning acting from Hitler, that far right fat man who shouts in his own show who said Sandy Hook was fake, and Abe Simpson.

  40. What did he actually say? All I got from this article was social media users were offended and the venue apologized, but no specifics about what he actually said.
