I’m guessing working on *Good Morning, Vietnam* had something to do with that.
I don’t do twitter or x anymore but Lisa Jakub was a solid follow, as was Mara Wilson. Very well adjusted human beings.
He will forever be irreplaceable
Robin came out to Iraq when I was there and spent so much time with all of us. He went out of his way to make sure everyone that wanted a picture or to talk to him got a chance to do so.
A true gentleman and scholar. A class act.
I still remember the night I read he’d taken his life. I was waiting outside my mom’s hospital room.
Robin Williams was a special soul – gave the world a lot of positive energy, talent, humor and more. I know GOD has special place for Robin.
He had his own struggles.
When you are suffering from the same thing, your empathy goes through the roof because you understand the pain and suffering and don’t wish it on other people.
You know how much it hurts, and know how great it feels to temporarily be on the other side of it, if you actually make it that far. And you want to help ANYONE going through the same thing.
You don’t want to see other people go through that. You EMPATHIZE. You reflect on your own pain, and the moments you had relief and how good it felt, and you just want to offer a hand to anyone to try and get them to the same place.
I was just thinking about that man today. The world truly lost someone irreplaceable.
