  1. I work in a liquor store. Boxed wine, or – bag in a box wine is a bag of 5L of wine with a spout that comes inside a cardboard box. It’s simple, uses less packaging and holds way more than other containers. 4 of those boxes come in one case of wine. The problem is that boxed wine drinkers seem to be connoisseurs who simply can’t accept that although it’s a fucking box, they believe that if it is dented then the wine inside the bag is damaged. So in NY state metro distribution region, they then use thick plastic wrap to keep 4 boxes of wine together in a case. Its wine in a bag, in a box, that’s then wrapped and boxed, and it only happens in our distribution area AFAIK because of customer complaints. There’s also the fact that miniature bottles tend to all come in plastic wrap sleeves of 10 when paper would suffice. I really hope a law like this goes after the unnecessary shit
