Literally out of nowhere this shop popped into my head today. I even remember the smell by iwantmygarmonbozia21 Tags:Casual UKUnited Kingdom 18 comments Your mum shops at Mr byrite Yup, it was my go-to shop in the 80s – the branch in Norwich. I do not The Killers ripped this off Stratford Shopping Centre.. it was just up from Woolies Nice pair of Farah Staypress. My mum used to get my repeat prescription bomber jackets from there when I was at school. My town had one, sandwiched between a Fads and a Sketchleys. Only the finest slacks in town…!! This was THE place for stone-washed jeans I remember the one in Northampton. The manikin’s got abit of timber on him. Yes! Grays shopping centre had one that I’d have to go to with my Dad It still exists, but they go by Blue Inc now, still about 50 shops scattered around the country. Mister Byrite was the budget clothes shop back in the day, considering inflation, Primark are stupidly cheap these days. I bet they sold “Bill Stunt” jeans. Oxford street one, got cheap tracksuit bottoms for playing football as a student that lasted many years after I stopped playing. Yes. I was such a badly-dressed teenager, that this was my go-to clothes shop when I left school. I thought I’d gone up in the world when I started shopping at The Officers Club, but think it was basically the same company re-branded. Used to go there all the time as a kid in the 90s Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
