I think the Welsh LibDems need a new identify. What are they for? Until more people have an emotional reason to believe in them they will struggle. We kind of know what Plaid, Lab, Con are for but in Wales there isn’t currently a reason for the LibDems
They need to come up with that reason and communicate it excellently
They’re competitive in the Brecon seat so I’d imagine they’re pouring all the resources into there.
The rest of the seats in Wales… maybe Montgomeryshire at a long shot if the Tories really collapse but everywhere else they’re pretty irrelevant.
Yeah, sorry this seat is a Labour hold and I’ll vote to keep it that way because in places like this just locking down a seat towards a Labour majority in GE is the right strategy.

I voted Lib Dem for the PCC election the other week because of the four candidates the Lib Dem was the only one who said what they actually wanted to do (less money for drug enforcement, more money for drug treatment and rehab).
The Labour candidate who had been the deputy PCC since 2016 under a Labour PCC that whole time just whined about how she wanted to undo the damage done by the Tories… in the PCC position that had been held by her party the whole time…
The Tory candidate managed to bring up stopping the boats… Something they have zero involvement in as South Wales PCC so the mind fucking boggles on that.
And the Plaid guy seemed a very sweet nice man. He was keen for you to know he spoke Welsh! He specifically made a big deal about Plaid wanting the PCC role to be totally independent from party politics and that he’d be a free agent in the role to do what was right…. And then he didn’t say anything he wanted to do. And clearly we can’t go off of Plaid policy because he’s literally just said how he isn’t beholden to it.

Although I don’t support Lib Dem it’ll be lovely to see Tories lose all seats in Wales
While I’m still paying my student loan, I’m still not voting for them.
I presume most of the people my age have still not forgotten that.
I’m honestly not sure what they offer anyway. I hate the Conservatives, but Labour and Plaid are satisfactory options.
Well if they had not someone so eccentric as Lembit Opik, maybe they would have a seat to defend.
They won’t be winning anything with Jane Dodds. Utter waste of a seat in the Senedd.
I say this as someone who knows her and have worked with her.

Lib Dems have been a walking corpse since Clegg sold out the whole fucking country by getting into bed with the Conservatives and opening the door for 15 years of austerity.
Besides, wtf do the Lib seems offer in Wales, other than being a drain off for wandering Cons voters?
