My apologies for an article from last winter, but as we strive to find and focus upon on the highest-payoff actions stepping up mankind’s energy-efficiency game, seems to me the doubling mentioned in the article is a very pivotal win:
COP28’s assertion is, humankind can meet fully half it’s 2050 climate goals by doubling today’s annual rate of energy-efficiency improvements from 2% to 4%.
They even got the most of the nations of the world to commit to it as their national goal.
