In 2011, City won the FA Cup, and United won their 19th Premier League title. An estimated 60,000-70,000 Blues lined the streets and celebrated with City, meanwhile around 12,000 United fans were able to show their appreciation for their premier league title winners.
As reported by the Manchester Evening News, who obtained statistics from Greater Manchester Police after a request under the Freedom of Information Act.

I imagine no one other than children care about these kinds of things…
I work with both blues and reds well into their 40s and they couldn’t give a flying fuck about how many people turn up to a parade.
It looks like it was raining the day of the United parade as well
i feel like its incredibly childish to criticise people about how many people comes up to the parade. we won the trophy, we do whatever tf we want. the amount of twitter post from rival fans chatting shit about the parade, while apparently they dont care about city, is just ridiculous. i try not to take these things seriously, and im sure many others too. but it also feels like lose-lose, since not many are “feeding” into these posts from the blue side, and now its spinned into “theres no fans” slander. it is what it is.
