Xavi clearly doesn’t need the money and although my heart tells me he should take it – this might actually be a good long term move for him, leaves with the highest of regard with the fans and just makes Laporta look even worse.
Could see him being a board member at some point if not more. After he returns as manager of course! 🙂

He decided to forgive his salary under the condition his entire staff are paid in full, which would cost about 3m. I agree Xavi should take the money owed to him and not let the club cloud his judgment, but at least he secured his staff’s wages to its entirety.
