  1. Who cared when he became rapist donald trump?. Who cared when he became insurrectionist trump? Whocared when he got caught defrauding banks and irs. Who cared when he called vets suckers and losers? Everyone laughed though when he got caught shitting his diapers – so at least we have that.

  2. Counting chickens before they hatch. Stop jinxing it

  3. Look, I guess it is their job. But like… If people don’t care, that’s on them. Idk what you’re really supposed to do if half the country just does not care that their candidate is a felon.

  4. Now this is the kind of headline that the right uses to great effect. It’s not exactly wrong–there’s a big fat IF in front–but it conveys a falsehood and gives a call to action to imprint the falsehood more deeply.

I’d congratulate them on learning how Fox does it, except that I find it revolting, because I have that left-leaning disgust for obvious propaganda techniques, the one that hamstrings us when it comes to real politics.

  5. Republicans will try and have the truth stricken from the record should Democrats say such facts in the House.

  6. he’s already a convicted rapist. his voters won’t care. maybe the addle headed “undecided” voters will, but capturing their vote is like trying to put a fart in a mason jar.

  7. I want to hear that every time. Treat “convicted felon” as his new title.

  8. I think it’s fairly unlikely Trump gets convicted. Probably a mistrial and I doubt the prosecution gets a second crack at it.

  9. Donald Trump has been an objective piece of crap since the late 1980s. If people don’t care about his character flaws by now, they never will. Democrats need to focus on their policies and show the American people why Democratic policies are better than Republican policies. It’s not hard to do if you put a little effort into it.

  10. It’s the Democrats’ job?

    Really?

Not the job of the free press as the 4th Estate?

The ones directly charged with safeguarding democracy and free society?

    No? Ok. Cool.

  11. Convicted felon and adjudicated rapist, Donald Trump

  12. Even if you say that in many areas, you’re dealing with brain washed folks or just idiots that are like “Pssh whatever it was rigged against him anyway.”

What gets me more than the full throated MAGA folks are the mid people that go along with the “Well I mean they were saying it was an area and a Judge that like, leans against him and stuff so I dunno if it was really that bad. I mean Presidents sling mud all the time and thats probably all this was.”

I live in North East Arkansas btw and either of these statements is fairly the norm here. Several towns around here have people who live on the city limits flying as many Trump flags as possible to show this is a “Trump Town”

  13. These same voters wouldn’t want to live next to a felon but will vote one in as president

    This country is screwed

  14. Let’s not count our convictions before they happen, but I do agree that we should as soon as they happen.

  15. Actually if he’s convicted it’s JUSTICE. The LAW should NOT ever concern political party lines. No one should be above the law.

  16. I honestly think the election will hinge on the outcome of this trial. If he’s acquitted it’ll play into his “witch hunt” and persecution complex, and enough folks will fall for it that I think he’ll win. A conviction and he’ll be a felon- there’s enough folks who will take that seriously that he won’t win. A hung jury is of course the biggest wildcard- I suspect a new trial would be conducted relatively quickly, but 50/50 that it could happen before November.

  17. He is already a convicted rapist and that doesn’t seem to matter.

  18. That fat piece of shit should do time. The last thing we need is him getting convicted with a suspended sentence.

  19. Except the right wing will say it was a false conviction, while ignoring that he was convicted by a jury.

  20. It’s surprising to me that convicted felons can’t vote but CAN hold the highest office in the USA

  21. Wrong. It is every American’s own job to care. Good democrats are merely the best of us who make a concerted effort to carry more than their share of the weight and make up for the intellectually lazy who refuse to acknowledge their own responsibilities in the matter.

  22. Say it again and again: “political kangaroo court show trial”
