Not ONCE did the article state if it was type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes or both. *Sigh
That’s a good thing, diabetes 2 induces many indirect illnesses.
Would be great, but I’ll believe it when I see it.
I’ve seen a lot of articles claiming there would be cures for cancers aswell. People out here still dying from cancer tho.
China? Suspicious.
suuure buddy. Chinese scientists also have pigs flying!
patient dies in 2 months ,conclusion medicine free in 3
If this turns out to be true (hopefully), I can already see the US charging at least 50k for it.
cool. cool cool cool. now lets see some peer review from outside china…
But based on Dr Jason Fung’s book and videos from many other doctor’s, type 2 diabetes is already reversible by reducing carbohydrates, avoiding sugar, soft drinks and processed foods, regularly doing intermitting fasting, reducing obesity and using Apple cider vinegar.
Cures diabetes and what are the side effects?
If true, bad news for the insulin industry.
A cure for diabetes? Where’s the long term profit in that? – American Pharmaceutical Industry
No way this would get approved in the states. The pharma industry makes more money by selling medication which they need to refill constantly. A cure is a one and gone solution. Thus profit margins would be incredibly low.
Basically they want their patients to remain sick and dependant on medication cause thats a huge revenue stream. Cant afford it? Oh well sucks to be you!
US diabetes medicine producers are not going to like this if it’s true.
I wish that I could call my grandma today.
That’s awesome.
Has it been peer-reviewed by anyone outside of China?
This just a variation of the Islet Transplant treatment that has been in place for years.
It’s called the Edmonton Protocol as it was developed at the University of Alberta.
Irregardless any science breakthroughs to better our life and keep loved ones here are massive.
Hopefully it spurs some geo contest and another gets discovered
The “cure” for type 2 is to stop treating your body like a dumpster for fried cheese.
USA won’t allow that to exist they make too much money off illness.
Cue the “they’re putting 5G mind control chips that will kill you in supposed Diabetes cure… You don’t need it, just eat apples and get out in nature, I don’t have diabetes” crowd.
Daily mail and from the country that lied to us about being responsible for Covid
Yeah no thanks pass until there is legit info
Pancreas transplants aren’t new, they just don’t last very long and tend to give up the ghost in 5-10 years. Now in theory a self stem cell derived islet cell should last longer cause its yours, but I think the main issue of graft failing is still present. If its not derived from you, and made from donor stem than you have basically done the same thing as a regular transplant and would expect it to die in same timeframe they do. Also if your type 1 you still have antibodies to your own islet cells so a self derived stem cell that matchs yours might actually make it fail faster.
That’s gonna get banned in the US for sure.
Ah a cure is only 5 years away I see. /s
