Americans seem to always have one of the most insane takes either in favour of Nazis or the Soviets. Which I blame less on the education and more on the fact that unlike most of the other WW2 participants, they didn’t experience the horrors of either of those forces on their own territory. (It’s always much easier to talk about people killed half a world away)
