3. “Heard joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he’s depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain.

   Doctor says, “Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up.”

   Man bursts into tears. Says, But doctor…I am Pagliacci.”

4. Ya gotta give it to De Niro. There are a lot of people with the same status, power, and age that he has, that feel the exact same way, but won’t say a peep. The guy has been in the front lines bashing trump at every opportunity.

5. I doubt this changes any Trump supporter’s minds.

6. It’s always “slam” this and “destroy” that. I’d like to imagine De Niro waited outside for Trump and literally chokeslammed him into the ground, then pounded his chest like Raging Bull.
