This is actually a useful warning for someone who thinks it’s a nice place go for a dip. Also, the more rain we get without investment in the facilities, the worse this problem gets. I don’t think we’ve started with shit pumping
What’s the issue? It’s stating a point. A disgusting point that needs to be addressed.
Yet water companies dumping it there will up your bills by hundreds of pounds every year.
My mum was from Margate and so I spent a lot of my summers there visiting family. We used to swim in the sea there all the time, until the day I saw a poo float past me.
Never been in the sea there since.
