1. I see nothing in there stating he will stop electric car sales. This is hate mongering and should be stopped. But it can’t be banned cause there is no option it’s too vague.

2. No, he didn’t say that.

   He rambled at a MAGA rally in Ohio about chinese EVs that are going to be manufactured in Mexico. It was an absolute rambling mess, but he was clearly talking about those specifically.

   He’s anti-EV (at least until Musk makes a decent campaign donation), but the evidence from the article, which was quoting a NYT article which has the youtube link for the MAGA rally where he talked about it, wasn’t about all EV sales.

   This time, at least. I wouldn’t put it past him.

   Would I vote Trump? No.

   Do I find this headline accurate? No.

   Did I find this article quite slanted? Yes.

4. Having a EV pause to allow the new graphite based batteries to reach maturity would be wonderful.

   A 3k mile Sedan or a ebike with hundreds of miles. Yes please. Lithium isn’t the only way to make a battery.
