Pentagon Pressed On Allowing Ukraine To Use US Weapons To Target Russian Troops Inside Russia
television I have a question about what um Stenberg the Secretary General said um um I believe yesterday about giving weapons to Ukraine let’s said each state can do what they want if they want their weapons to be used towards Russia that’s fine and that brought a lot of discussion um in Europe cuz it can bring a war if France macron decide to to go for it as example what is the position of the Pentagon please and then I have another question sure our position hasn’t changed uh we believe that in order for we believe that Ukraine can be successful in its goals by continuing to take back its Sovereign territory and using um us provided weapons um to do that so but should the should let’s say single state decide how to use their own yeah I can’t speak for other countries I can only speak for us um we’ve given them uh many different capabilities artillery uh longrange air defenses um or air defenses um again our position hasn’t changed in terms of how we believe the ukrainians can be success successful on the battlefield um but I leave it to other countries to speak to their own weapons that they provide I’m going to go to Mike question
