  4. I dunno if I’d really trust Hollywood for effective and accurate science communication. Even with the climate crisis, *grounded in reality* doesn’t sell tickets. Which is why every disaster movie is over-the-top and unrealistic.

    Science communication is largely the responsibility of the media, since that’s where people expect to read / listen to important information. And inaccurate climate reporting is way more common than people realize, even from major and trusted sources.

    So, if you ask me, the media needs to do better.
    Not Hollywood.
