Terrorists negotiating with terrorists nothing new.
I doubt even the Taliban are stupid enough to trust Russia.
Every taliban tribe/family owns a valley in Afghanistan, you pass through you pay, no pay you stay ( in jail under their house ) until someone pay, wether your from six valleys away or next one over. Love to see them all get to an economic forum.
This was discussed at the time of the withdrawal, for the argument for keeping relations with the Taliban government to prevent them from influence of Russia & China. Sadly, it looks like that will come to pass.
And what’s in it for Russia? Potentially $80b of weapons just sitting there.
Asking them to fight in Ukraine in 5.. 4…
Putler also rumored to invite North Sentinelese
It looks like Putin is trying to polarize anyone who’s against the West. While terror orgs like the Taliban are dangerous, a bigger danger is if entire countries/state actors align with Russia and China. I wonder what the alignments of countries in Africa, South America and Central America look like, whether they’re more inclined towards the West or the new Axis.
They need more fodder for the front lines.
They are the Afghan Government after all, so?
Republicans will still support russia
Probably need to pump up those recruitment numbers. Tell them they get a chance to kill westerners.
its going to take the whole russian avengers to go against the west. good luck w that lil puti needs all the help he can get LOL
What could possibly go wrong here?
Nice company: ruzzzia, Iran, North Korea, Hamas , Taliban. Good substitution for G8
New meat cube fodder incoming
I’m sure they’re after the Trillions of dollars in [mineral deposits in the mountains](https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2021/08/18/business/afghanistan-lithium-rare-earths-mining) of Afghanistan.
Not surprising, Trump gets all Taliban prisoners released then plans a withdrawal from Afghanistan. Screwing over the people who tried to fight for their interests. Cant tell me that was not directed by Russian influenced politicians.
Hahahaha, Russia inviting the Taliban over for an economic forum…Russia may have found a group that knows less about economics and running a country than them. I hope they become good friends and Russia exploits them for everything.
Next on their invite list are the Society of Shadows, S.P.E.C.T.R.E, and the Galactic Empire from Star Wars.
What a living failure of a country.
If you have read these books, you know why this is bad…

Authored by Lester W. Grau, “The Bear Went Over the Mountain: Soviet Combat Tactics in Afghanistan” is a comprehensive analysis of Soviet military operations during the Afghan War (1979-1989). The book compiles firsthand accounts and tactical analyses from Soviet officers who participated in the conflict. It provides detailed descriptions of various military engagements, offering insights into the Soviet approach to counter-insurgency warfare. Grau’s work highlights both the strategic successes and the significant challenges faced by the Soviet forces, making it a valuable resource for understanding Cold War-era military tactics.

Also edited by Lester W. Grau and co-authored with Ali Ahmad Jalali, “The Other Side of the Mountain: Mujahideen Tactics in the Soviet-Afghan War” offers a counterpoint to Grau’s earlier work by presenting the perspective of the Afghan Mujahideen fighters. This book compiles narratives and analyses from the Mujahideen, detailing their guerrilla tactics, strategies, and combat experiences against the Soviet forces. It sheds light on the asymmetrical warfare techniques used by the Afghan resistance, providing a comprehensive understanding of their operations and the challenges they imposed on the Soviet military. Together, these two books offer a balanced and in-depth view of both sides of the Soviet-Afghan conflict.
What’s next the Mexican cartel
Desperation level 10.
Now tell me again Russia isn’t getting desperate..
Alright, this is mildly hilarious given their history with each other
Taliban says no
Putin: so you remember when Soviet troops were in Afghanistan in the 80s? Totally ours because of it
Not much difference between the Taliban and the Russian government as far as their willingness to act as terrorists.
Cream of the crop
Russia cannot be too choosy these days……………….
Wow, I’m starting to think these Russian folks aren’t great guys…
Terrorist states do tend to ally themselves with one-another.
Didn’t the taliban attack russia at a music festival not to long ago??
Next up, recognizing Hamas as a trusted economic partner. Or has Putin already done that?
Russia “Hey Taliban, remember we destroyed entire villages? Good times.”
Imagine courting the Taliban. This is what desperation smells like
Someone is in need of weapons and fighters
Cia funding muhajadeen has come so far (How were the Taliban formed? The group was formed in the early 1990s by Afghan mujahideen, or Islamic guerrilla fighters, who had resisted the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan (1979–89) with the covert backing of the CIA)
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
