When I was a kid, me and my family were walking on Ingleborough when we stumbled upon the local caving club running trips down Gaping Gill. Had my parents known how insanely big it was they’d never have agreed to let us go down. The chair lift down through the shaft was mental.
I recall they told us that the chamber shown here is big enough to fit York Minster inside.
This week only?
I had no idea there was a “winch week”. Might have to make some time to try get the to the next one.
