The connection between first team and Campus is now to be further strengthened so there will be more cases like Aleksandar Pavlović in the future. Overall, Bayern bosses are happy with the development at the Campus. The exchange was not as close under Hasan Salihamidžić. Christoph Freund and Max Eberl have been given the clear task to focus more on youth talent from the academy [@_kochmaximilian, @Abendzeitung]
Groundhog Day.
Hearing the same talk each and every season.
PA logic was forced while it was. Clear he should have been playing. Same for Tel. He should have played way more. He’s already lost half a year because of resistance. Same for Musiala. He would have played the same when we would have played him a year earlier before his breakthrough. Those are obvious choices to many fans. Though board and coach are afraid of the results and the league standings.
Otherwise I dunno why they don’t risk it more at Bayern and then throw away season after season anyway, how it happened for the past two years.
Appointing Kitzbichler was a huge win for our youth department. There actually _is_ communication now between our youth/loan players and the club. Before, everything seemed a bit unstructured and aimless.
I’m really happy to see some youth players finally contributing again in the first team.
It feels like between Müller and Musiala there was nothing going on at all and no player managed to take that step. Bayern cannot compete with Real, PSG and the Prem guys in buying complete players at market prices in the long run.
Bayern need to develop players for the first team.
That´s the same stuff I read for the last 10-15 years. The only thing the youth department produces is bad news – racism, underpaying staff, and incompetence.
