What a day that was. There was about 10 of us who went down on the train from Leeds, got 1st class tickets for an extra tenner. Stopped off at the Lamb and Flag in Covent Garden for a couple of pints. Got to Wembley in plenty of time. My god that place stank of piss. About half our group left with about 3 mintues to go, but luckily the stewards let them back in for extra time.
I recently found my ticket stub from the match along with a few other tickets and I still have the commemorative flag from that day. My mum died in February that year and this was the first time I remember smiling.
