Honestly with how little Russia values the lives of their soldiers (meat grinder tactics, etc) I’m sorta suprised they’ve engaged in any exchanges at all.

Ukrainian pows are starved to death on purpose and tortured, many suffer lifelong injuries and disabilities after being captured.
No exchange favors Russia. Since they can move on with genocide anyway. And russians will be released sooner or later.
They’re having trouble getting their former POW’s to go back to the front lines.
My thought is Russia is gonna ransom soldiers back to Ukraine because we are dumb enough to pay for them as we have proven, also you can’t release soldiers you’ve been torturing routinely without some repercussions against your country from the outside world.
