‘It’s on – what will the 2024 election be like?’

cuz yesterday most of my afternoon was saying goodbye to people who I’ve been friends with for like a decade some of these people like you know I wouldn’t vote for them don’t get me wrong imagine your business is just shutting today and your the people you’ve worked with for a decade you’re going to walk away from them you all live in different parts of the country I felt genuinely sad this is something that you know we don’t you know in the cut and thrust of politics and doing what I do this is what we don’t talk about that much but it’s the sort of human aspect of it all of these MPS who thought they had a few months before an election suddenly they’re like we’re in a campaign I could lose my job I haven’t had chance to say goodbye to my friends it’s absolutely brutal isn’t it I don’t think the Prime Minister was being selfish with this and also I don’t think allowing a couple of hundred people to get an extra six months wages in terms of mpes actually is selfishness I think I think MPS worrying about where the six months wages are coming from that could be considered selfish

  1. Who cares about MPs saying goodbye to their ''friends'' what about the Bills that were progressing in the House of lords that were about to pass, Bills that would have improved the lives of people in this country, down the drain. AGAIN

  2. Another overpaid, overrated MP feeling sorry for herself. Think of all the people who've lost their jobs and haven't had the earning power to give them the potential to save, who didn't get big payments when they lost their jobs and who won't get the gilt-edged pension that MPs receive. Another case of rich peoples' problems.

  3. Think about the number of small businesses who have had to close suddenly and the workers who lost their jobs without 6 months wages, so who gives a damn for eejits on £92k + expenses only getting 6 months wages.

  4. What about all the people who’s rents have soared who have been handed section 21’s and don’t have a clue where they will go. We’re meant to feel sorry for MP’s saying bye to their mates. Give your head a shake lass.

  5. Jess is more Tory than Ruth ffs crying over rich right wing mps -moving from well paid public sector jobs to soon even better paid private sector work – who have caused misery through austerity on the public
