100% right. Without independence the environment will simply not be up for discussion. Do we expect the Red or Blue Tories to give a shit about our future? Or the planet?
We need independence so that Scotland can lead the way. This the only way to save the world. Once other countries see how our green net-zero economy booms from maximizing our wind turbine energy potential, the rest of the world will follow.
Westminister will not listen, if we do not lead the way they will do nothing. We need to lead the way, or we will get left behind.
A simple truth, that needs to be repeated to be fully understood. Great job Lorna, shame she isn’t SNP and leading the Scottish Government.

When Slater is allowed to speak with experience as an engineer on green investment – she speaks in such a cogent and practical manner – I was impressed.
But when Harvie open his mouth and starts to drown his much superior colleague out, foaming on about gender debates – I feel what a wasted talent Slater is in the Green Party.
