I was just tracking flights in and out of Moscow and realized that Turkish air is business as usual from Moscow to Istanbul. Very little in the news. Any info you have would be great.
Thanks

  1. Because Turkey is basically like Hungary in that they’re not very NATO or EU friendly. I mean look at their insistence on buying Russian S-400s (despite their performance). Unfortunately there’s too many economic and military basing costs to paraiah them.

Just wanna add that kinda shabang isn’t new. Back in the 70s/80s the Romanian leader Caucescu was what Turkey and Hungary are now. Constantly going against Soviet wishes. It’s just part of the parlay I guess.

Speaking of S400s here’s the video of an entire battery getting blown by 30 year old rockets

  2. Because Turkey is really a NATO Trans! ie They dress up as NATO but underneath….

  3. On the same bent, why is NATO and allies like Australia allowing Emirates and Etihad to fly to their nation when they also fly to Russia. In the case of Turkish Airlines, deny them access to EU Airspace, and they will stop flying.

  4. turkey is run by islamic jihadis pretending to be a NATO country , but love taking in as much russian money as possible.

  5. LOL i took a Turkish flight to Moscow last week. Full of Americans. You are crazy and out of touch with reality!

  6. Erdogan is skating on thin ice with NATO to maximise bribes.

  7. Because they are close to broke and ruski tourists (mainly horny women) are good source of income and entertainment for local population.

  8. Because Turkey doesn’t care about supporting the economic ambitions of the United States or pretending to.
