2. On a side note, a CIA advisor named George Bacon helped lead a Royalist guerrilla battalion in reoccupying Skyline Ridge from PAVN, North Vietnamese, troops. Quite a character, served as a Green Beret MACV-SOG Vietnam, CIA operative in Laos then finally killed in 1976 as a mercenary in Angola.
