Apparently you can’t move in unless every single permanent resident agrees lol
Well, like Scotland’s islands the population is aging and shrinking as every young person leaves for work elsewhere and the isolation of the island makes it hard to go back. The weather is however totally un-Scottish – it is so close to the Equator that it doesn’t have “seasons” like we do here. It has “hot” in our winter when the daily temperature is roughly 18 degrees, and then “cold” in our summer when the temperature is roughly 12 degrees.
The Government has spent money on local services, building a hospital of sorts in 2017, but life there is incredibly isolated and it doesn’t really attract as many people as it would need to.
