For instance, in Japan (Kawaguchiko) – Tourists have been flooding the area since many posts via TikTok or social media showcase Mt Fuji with a Lawson in it (they are installing a barrier to block the view), but this comes with the following problems and issues that cause concern and upset locals:
- Tourists jaywalking when there's a designated pedestrian crossing
- Tourists riding bikes on the same lane made for oncoming traffic
- The car on the parking lot had a hard time exiting due to tourists being in the way
- Tourists nearly got ran over by oncoming vehicles, due to standing on the road
In hindsight:
Do you know a town in Austria that was once quiet and peaceful but now invaded by tourists due to its location being near a well known tourist attraction? But due to tourists, are there instances their behavior or (lack of) manners can upset the locals?

I mean Hallstatt went from a small village of 700 people near a lake to now a place where up to 10,000 tourist show up per day
Definitely Hallstatt. I remember living close to it during my childhood and a lot has changed.
Getreidegasse in Salzburg, on weekends and the whole summer season.
