  1. Hate Russian state but this is wrong decision. Let them come. It’s just playing into Putin’s fantasy version of events. Show the rest of the country that he’s wrong and invite them.

  2. Russia was a coaggravator of WWII. Russians celebrating for assisting the end of WWII is analogous of those aggravating movies where the protagonists were the reason for the crisis. The viewers observe their journey cleaning up their mess just in time to be recognized as heros. They aren’t heroes, and IMO, those movie plots are absolute shit.

  3. Why would Russia even be invited? Russia had SFA to do with D-Day.

  4. Good, when you look back at history do they really deserve to be? My grandpa was on Normandy Beach, he was always my hero…

  5. Russia starved millions of Ukrainians in the early 1930’s, invaded Finland, then proceeded to make a deal with Hitler (Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact) to co-invade Poland & carve it up.

Fuck Putin. Fuck Russia and the fake history they teach. Immediately after VE day, they deported hundreds of thousands of Crimean Tatars. They never looked back. 90 years after starving Ukrainians in Kharkiv and moving Russians into their land, they celebrate by trying to re-create global famine blowing up Ukrainian grain silos and blockading their export.

    The Russians aren’t welcome.
