A photo first published by Apache shows national secretary of Vlaams Belang Ortwin Depoortere performing the Nazi salute as a then member of student club NSV. Depoortere is second on Vlaams Belang's East Flanders parliamentary list for June 9. And he is not the only Vlaams Belang candidate nostalgic for the Third Reich.
