3. At this point it feels like an unconscious counter-selection. They threw out those good at their job, because they want a miracle, so they get the “yes” sayers that aren’t even as good as the previous ones.

11. Maybe one internal faction is have some results in the war and are now squeezing out others since they now have Putin’s ear.

12. Putin knew about the pervasive corruption in all spheres of Russian administration. He had an idea that the Russian people’s ability to endure hardship would be the factor that wins the war independent of the corruption, but the drones have shown us that war is different from WW2 in this respect and human flesh has no place on the modern battleground.

    Putin feels probably at this end of May 2024 that Russia can collapse into something horrible disastrous sivil war.
