  1. Understandable. We don’t want to start our pre season with more injuries, do we now…

  2. I mean he is already going to Copa, I think it is fair to want to have one of the players you want to maximize be present for the new managers first preseason, I could be wrong here though

  3. No team wants their players going to the Olympics, especially if they’re already doing another summer international tournament.

  4. Makes sense with a new coach and system coming in. And with him being a key part of it the Olympics are less of a priority with him participating in the Copa.

  5. Players decision unless you have a clause in contract, south amarricans take this more seriously than we do it seems. Guess they better hope he shares their priorities.

Personally I’d have loved us to take the Olympics a bit more seriously over the years, a team GB would have been great to watch over the years.

  6. Until Argentina start picking up his wages then it’s Chelsea’s call.

  7. I think, no team wants their players going to the Olympics, if they’re already doing another summer international tournament. it’s corny.

  8. No way we are going to allow this. Didn’t they see what happened to pedri? So when he’s done with Copa america, olympics next?

  9. So he couldn’t play last few games of the season but Argentina expect him to play Copa and Olympics 😆. By the time he gets back to Chelsea in August he will be dust.
