This is very last minute, sorry – I was just copying a route from Google Maps to Apple (my preferred) for a drive tomorrow morning from Aurland to Hellsylt.
To my dismay, Apple Maps gave a drastically longer time and much different route. After a while, I zeroed in on an interesting and scary difference.
Neither seems to consider the Kjøsnes tunnel as an option.
Google routes along the old road. Apple refuses to show the old road and ignores the tunnel as a route. Both show the tunnel existing.
The Norwegian wikipedia page says it is open, based on this 2022 news report.
Any advice very gratefully accepted. If we end up going that way, will update this post to say what happened!
