Russian missile attack in Ukraine’s Kharkiv leaves at least 3 dead
Russian missiles hit three sites in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, killing at least three people and injuring 16, local officials said.
Firefighters were seen trying to douse flames in one of the damaged buildings while helping evacuate residents, several of whom said they still had family members unaccounted for.
Moscow denies deliberately targeting civilians. Thousands have been killed and injured since Russia’s February 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
