    Really what should have been done was Congress creating a separate federal court entirely with exclusive jurisdiction to handle cases involving Presidents, and fill that court with judges from around the country, or different Circuit Courts judges, or something. Anything is better than a single judge appointed by the same President who is being indicted.

  12. the order from the appeals court is bad news for people thinking she is going to be removed from the case

    basically says:

    1. they see no evidence that the judge is delaying the case for improper reasons

    2. the judge being appointed by trump is no basis for recusal

    3. they are directing the clerk to ignore any future complaints on the subject because they believe they are being spammed by copy/paste complaints in an orchestrated campaign

  32. Her reasons for not being able to rule in a timely manner is that here are so many rulings to be made. She is the instrument of her own complaint. She accepts every filing and then requires responses to motions that she should immediately deny as being without merit. Her competence is surely at issue. This case is not for a beginner to learn on. The circuit should weigh in and have the case reassigned.
