1. It’s impossible to buy a home in Tirana unless you sell drugs or have ties to the government, rent is high for a piece of shit flat, in the suburbs there is nothing to work, no shit.
   A police principal resulted to have 10 luxury flats in the center of Tirana, 22 shops, a luxury villa etc… meanwhile normal people can only dream of them.

4. 1.2 means that teach couple has on average 1.2 children? Yeah it sounds ok.. it’s hard to imagine many people having two kids at the same time with the salary in some domains..
   I would like to have a child, but only one. The population can shrink, it’s not a huge issue.. at some point housing will become cheaper.

6. Doesn’t sound believable to be so low. Probably there is unaccounted migration, so the country thinks there’s more potential mothers than there actually are.

8. Your headline is completely misleading – birth rates fell, not fertility. Plenty of people who are fertile are just not having children.

9. Because probably most of Albanian children are either born abroad or have moved abroad with their parents. If the country can give strong signals and incentives to attract them back, not only Albanians would be back, but other Europeans as well.

10. What are they wining about? That is twice our fertility rate. It sounds like a healthy society to me.
