Tesco to replace stickers on avocados with laser ‘tattoo’ in bid to reduce waste

4. Do people know how much the avocado industry is damaging to the environment? The amount of rain forest destroyed and the water they need to grow is incredible. 

   Ahh well, avocados on toast is the brst breakfast before I go on my climate change marches. Gives me strength to hold my megaphone and the vitamins make my purple hair look great.

8. I wonder does the laser have any impact on the fruit? Any mutations etc. Or maybe it goes on to join a gang or something?

9. Also to stop people removing the small sticker and putting it on the large avocado!

10. I managed a Tesco store for years and our avocados always came loose in trays with a tiny sticker on just like apples. This just seems like the latest unnecessary, bullshit busywork that area managers come up with so they can feel like they’re important when everyone knows they’re useless.
