> Swinney said Scots are facing a “triple crisis” caused by austerity, Brexit and the cost of living, but claimed Labour offered little in the way of solutions.

The SNP ruined everything with their gender crap, now the red Tories will take charge of Scotland and make sure we never dare to oppose the British establishment again, I hope yous are happy
SNP are new labour that talk about being socialists and never follow through.
The SNP just sound desperate now.
Nothing to offer, just taunts.
This is the same “left of Labour” SNP who this week launched an attack on Labour’s plan for a publicly funded green energy project on the basis that it threatens oil and gas jobs in the NE. An attack line that came from the party’s very progressive anti-abortion deputy leader Forbes. Since Nicola left the SNP’s messaging and attack lines have been swinging around so erratically I can hardly keep track. We care about the environment! No wait Labour are for the environment, now we care about oil and gas! But we’re still more progressive! Except for when one of our rising stars has religious views, then we’re okay with being socially conservative!
The SNP never purged the left wing of their own party, unlike Labour.
Who to vote for then (apart from the tories)?
The SNP loved the Tories being in power because it kept the SNP In power, that’s the reality. That’s about to change and they should be rightly worried they’ll have to start doing some actual work.
Now it’s clear all the SNP have to offer is empty soundbites; they’ve gotten away with “opposition party are bad ☹️” for years whilst letting Scotland stagnate and now are finely going to have to pull their fingers out, but instead of taking Labour on regards policies of both parties, it’s just more name calling.
It’s obvious Swinney won’t be any better than Yousaf.
In all honesty it’s time for a change – taxing the 61% of Scotland that actually pays any income tax more each year to hand out more money to the 39% of Scots who contribute nothing to the country regards income tax isn’t the answer – if that’s what the SNP mean by “left of Labour” then I’m happy to see Labour get in power.

And fix the potholes FFS.
Thought John Swinney was meant to be the competent candidate who had the experience to guide the SNP to a post Sturgeon era.
He’s saying some truly embarrassing shite nearly every time he’s given a mic, honestly don’t see how he’s any different than Humza.
