  1. “Large-scale MRP polling by Electoral Calculus surveyed 10,000 people taking tactical voting into account and was published on Friday night by GB News.

It puts Labour on 46 per cent, the Tories on 19 per cent, Reform UK on 12 per cent without any seats, and the Lib Dems on 10 per cent, with a 48-seat gain.

The survey also predicts 18 Conservative Cabinet members could lose their seats, including Oliver Dowden, James Cleverly, Kemi Badenoch and Penny Mordaunt.”

They’re gonna have serious issues forming a credible opposition when they’re choosing shadow cabinet members from a pool of 66 and most of their big names have lost their seats.

  3. As much as I really want this to be true. I just can’t see it happening.
The Tories bloody deserve it though for what they’ve put the people through.

  4. There is no talent left in the Conservative Party with the dregs they have now… they need to be absolutely pounded into the ground.

  5. This wont happen, dont become complacent, make sure you still vote.

  6. Old erstwhile socialist Carol Vorderman is suggesting 35 as a target if folk use tactical voting appropriately.
What do people think of the suggestion the Tories are hoping to see Reform in ascendancy followed by a coalition in opposition or a merge?

  7. Without the EU to blame, every party in power is going to become wholly accountable to the electorate for what they do and don’t do. Quite possibly the one and only true benefit of Brexit.

  8. It would be hilarious if 8 mps defected to the lib dems if this happened, so the Tories aren’t even the official opposition and get 5 years in timeout.

  9. Still too many, zero seats is the only way. Tear the whole thing down

  10. And they’ll convince you and themselves that it’s all normal

  11. Good. I’d prefer zero seats and them ceasing to exist, but good.

The only tragedy in this is that Labour are going to be in power for the next generation, and there’s no difference between those two parties. Labour is going to continue the theme of mass immigration, demographic replacement, moving the last dregs of whatever we have left abroad, dragging our standard of living down with a net zero obsession that won’t do anything to stop climate change, and so on and so forth.

So yeah, I’m glad the “Conservative” Party are done. I hope Labour are next.

  12. A fourteen year attack on their fellow citizens the poor ,the vulnerable public services and democracy itself. Lest we forget.

  13. One thing is sure they have managed to bankrupt Uk and reduce it from a thriving country to a country of millions queuing to food banks, Poundland shops that sells junk for more than £1 about 4-5 million people able to work on benefits. Millionaires that are moving in droves to Dubai to escape the raids in their bank accounts in the name of fair taxation sky high prices on rents and mortgages and a total societal collapse over all

  14. 66 too many. Shows the partisan mentality when so many people would still vote Tory despite the last 14 years of utter failure and chaos.

  15. This is an absolute travesty of politics in the UK.

The fact that anyone could look around at what the Tories have done for the last 14 years and thinks they deserve even 1 seat is a joke.

  16. Good. The destruction they have done to this country, they should not be anywhere near power for generations.

I do fear what parties could rise up from that voting base though.
