  1. My hungarian dad used to say that politicians need to see one of their peers brought to justice every 10-20 years to keep the memory fresh. They will be much less inclined to do the really dirty stuff if they see a guy being hanged who was just shaking their hands a week before.

    Now Ceausescu was shot more than 30 years ago … and we got Orban.

  6. I like the fact he survived to 1946, he got to see the complete and utter destruction of his ideals and allies. He would have known he completely failed and wasted his life.
