Kremlin official threatens war against NATO if Ukraine uses US weapons against Russia

A top Russian official has said it could go to war with NATO if Ukraine strikes inside Russia with US weapons.

It comes after Joe Biden lifted restrictions on Kyiv defending Kharkiv with American weapons.

The shift in US policy didn’t stop Russia from launching missiles on civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv overnight, where at least four people have been killed and dozens more injured.

  1. What the Kremlin is also not acknowledging is their part of activities that are escalatory. They think they can do anything but when Ukraine responds with the help of their allies then Russia is saying the world should see that as escalatory. The word escalation should apply both ways: it's either Russia who's escalating or Ukraine who does it and the Kremlin should educate themselves on that as well.

  3. Russia should stop launching attacks from within its borders if it wants immunity from western weapons. Perhaps stopping using foreign made weapons itself. And foreign troops. Better still, withdraw its troops from Ukrainian lands totally. Russia's making the rules on this one, having been using this policy from day one.
