    It’s the weirdest thing, though. The wildly popular Republican candidate for president is twice divorced, a convicted felon, effectively separated from his wife, doesn’t like dogs, avoided military service, knows nothing of the bible and never attends church is somehow revered and thronged by crowds of literal worshipers.

    It’s as if they are looking for the worst possible person for the job.
